Education and training of professionals is one of the main pillars of the organization. SHRA has played an important role in building the capacities of health professionals (doctors, nurses, social workers, psychologists) in the field of palliative care and care for the third age. To date, more than 1,300 professionals have been trained in both primary and secondary health care services, as well as social services at the local and central level.
The goal of education and training is to increase and improve the knowledge, habits and competences of professionals for palliative care and care for the third age, guaranteeing the increase in the quality of life of patients, the elderly and their family members.
