“Early diagnosis saves lives.”
This was the theme of today’s awareness meeting, organized by the Durrës Local Health Care Unit in collaboration with representatives from the Rrashbull Multifunctional Community Center and Ryder Albania, as part of Pink October (the global breast cancer awareness month).
The meeting was held with women and girls from the surrounding community.
They were informed on the topic because more and more women are overcoming breast cancer through early detection, regular screenings, and timely diagnosis of this life-threatening disease.
Let’s spread this message throughout the month and beyond, inviting each other, our families, and friends to support our mothers, women, sisters, daughters, and friends in talking about the importance of awareness, education, and prevention.
Because a healthy woman means a happy family, and a happy family means a healthy society!
